When you’re using the regular version of Safari that runs on your Macintosh (or Windows-based PC), setting a particular site as your home page is as simple as going to the General tab in System Preferences and typing in an address. You can’t do that on the iPhone, but you can use this work-around: Add your would-be home page to your bookmarks list, and then move it to the top of the list. Yes, it requires an extra tap — first on the Bookmarks icon and then on the bookmark itself — but it will get you to your favorite Web page with a minimum of fuss.

@Mike: As of Feb-2010, the problem still exists. Yes, I’m using m.icaltrain.com. My model is a BB 8330 (World Edition… if that matters). We can meet over coffee and you can fiddle around w/my phone if you can’t find one to try it on. I will soon be commuting on Caltrain for work and would really like to help get this fixed. Thx. DB

Any chance of making the website Blackberry friendly in the near future? Or create a Blackberry app? Blackberry has more users out there than Apple and Android - I think this would be very helpful for a lot of people. Thanks!
